Forget the iphone 7(for a year ,at least ):apple 's new handset could be called iphone 6 SE

Rumours about when the iPhone 7 will launch have been circulating for months. However,

the latest puts a new twist on the mystery, claiming it won¡¯t be called the iPhone 7 at all.

Instead, it will be called the iPhone 6SE - leaving the iPhone 7 for next year,
when apple is expected to introduce a major overhaul of its iconic handset.

The report from Apfelpage comes from Chinese supply chain sources,
who claim to have  have seen packaging and labelling that indicates the new phone will be called the ¡®iPhone 6SE¡¯.
Given the more-iterative changes and similar design,
it is not out of the question for Apple to brand the new iPhone as a continuation of the iPhone 6 line,¡¯ says 9to5Mac.
One mobile phone leaker has predicted which week in September Apple will release the phone to the market.
Evan Blass, today tweeted: ¡¯iPhone 2016 release: week of September 12th¡¯.
The launch date has been suggested by mobile phone leaker Evan Blass,
who has accurately leaked images and details about other phones in the past.
Mr Blass followed up his first tweet with a second, which read: ¡¯Just to clarify,
this refers to the retail release, not the launch event. To be even more specific, it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th
The mobile phone leaker, who is also a Mobile Reporter at Venture Beat,
is best known for leaking Android-based smartphone details.
His prediction of the launch date for Apple¡¯s newest phone is in line with their previous announcements,
such as the iPhone 6, which launched in September 2015.
As well as the launch date, some rumours about specifications have also been circulating.
Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported: ¡¯Instead of 16GB as a starting point for the entry-level iPhone,
the new starting point will be 32GB, according to a person familiar with Apple¡¯s iPhone plans.
As well as ditching the 16GB model, rumours suggest that Apple will also be introducing a larger 256GB model
